This work was done for Romea Yachting Club, a port located in the Venetian lagoon. The statue represents a seahorse, the icon of Romea, supported by the tip of a ‘cippo di conterminazione lagunare’.
Cippus are columns of Istrian stone used by the Venetians to mark the boundaries of the lagoon.
The creation of the piece started with 3D design of the model which, once approved, was printed in multiple parts using 3D printers.
Once the pieces were joined, several layers of fiberglass were applied to reinforce the piece as it must be installed outdoors.
Finally, it was painted with polyurethane paint.
